Welcome!

Hello and welcome, one and all!

This marks the first of many more posts of the new Ed Board Website. We'd like to begin by introducing ourselves.

We are the Editorial Board, a club/society affiliate of INTIMA, the Student Government Body of INTI College Subang Jaya a.k.a. ICSJ. As you may have guessed, we're comprised of students who are currently furthering their studies within ICSJ.

Ed Board is separated into four different teams. We have the Editorial Team, the Design Department, the Operation Squad, and the Photography Section. Each team has their own responsibility and task that they need to complete within Ed Board as you will see as you read on.

Instead of just studying throughout our college life, all of us in Ed Board felt that we wanted to make our experience more than just books and grades. And so, we are the founders of the INTI Insider newsletter, a student-run publication of ICSJ. Within our newsletter we present a variety of interesting articles written by students themselves along with the empowering graphics and designs done by our members and students. There are many different elements within the newsletter, and the work is distributed equally to all four teams of Ed Board.

First, we have the Editorial Team. What the Editorial Team does is as you may have figured it out, in charge of the contents that are written inside the INTI Insider Newsletter. All the articles inside the newsletter are written by our members within the Editorial Team. There are some exceptions however, such as articles written by non-Ed Board members. Basically they're the freelance writers interested in trying out their writing skills. Freelance Writers are more than welcome to email us they're work to our email at editorial.icsj@gmail.com along with their display name. Besides the contents of the newsletter, the Editorial Team is in charge of all writings that are required in any activity/event that Ed Board may participate/organize.

Second, we have the Design Department. They help design the graphics that you see on our newsletter, along with the graphics done in the website right now. The Design Department has been doing quite well, given the large workload given to them with a restrictive timeline. The besides the newsletter, the Design Department also help with the designs when any activity/event takes place by either giving their opinions or manual labour.

Third, we have the Operation Squad. These guys are in charge of getting the newsletter printed, getting the latest news of any events happening inside college, getting feedbacks and random surveys around college for the newsletter, and many more. Besides the newsletter, the Operation Squad are also in charge organizing any events that Ed Board may hold or participate in. Another work done by them is taking care of the publicity of Ed Board as well as our INTI Insider Newsletter.

Last but not least, we have the newly formed Photography Section. They're in charge of taking the photos that will be published in the INTI Insider Newsletter with the corresponding article. Not only articles, but the front cover as well! They take photos of all the events/activities that takes place in ICSJ.

Of course, the newsletter is not the only thing we do in Ed Board. We've participated and co-operated in many of the events held in INTI organized by the INTI Clubs/Societies. We also take pride in our most recent event that we organized for our members, the ED BOARD Camp. It was a memorable time for everyone both the participants and the organizers. The camp was held at Genting Highlands for two days and one night.

Besides the ED BOARD Camp, we've also organized an internal event for the members of ED Board where we sent off the senior members who were leaving in ED Board. Here in ED Board, we like to think of each other as an extended family where we grow up together, helping each other in every step we take together.
